You'll notice that many homes have two raised beds in their yards. This is the sign of the home of a Veteran! Thanks to our friends from EDA Contractors, and JDog Junk Removal, our volunteers were able to help each Veteran create their unique planting spaces. Read on to learn more.
Volunteers Michelle and Dawn unload the incredible array of perennials and annuals that will be placed into the raised beds at the request of the Veterans.

Volunteers plant into a raised bed that also has lattice attached. The idea was suggested by the Veteran who lived there and was looking for her beds to have a dual purpose of beauty and privacy.

On this block there were six Veterans and it was really special to be able to look down the street and see all of the new raised beds.
